Hey guys... I was just messing around on the comp the other night and found carsponsorships.com... I ended up filling everything out accept for the credit card info... They actually called me today and the dude said that they are really interested in getting me sponsored... He asked me all about my plans for the car... He kept pushing for me to get body kits n shit... I'm just not into that so we settled on lip kits... Anyway... He said that I could get motors for free, turbo parts for free, wheels and even interior parts all for free... All I have to do is pay a one time only $90 contract fee and pass out fliers at car shows... Does this sound right to anyone? I told him I'd have to get the money together just to buy some time to ask you guys... Someone help me out if you know anyone who has done this...

They will pretty much sponsor anyone. You can do it, but don't expect anything great in return.

i think there's been threads about this before..
i've heard of a couple people that have gotten really good endings with this story..
but a lot more that dont end up too well and they only get a lot of stickers or something..
it's really up to you if you wanna risk it, i mean it is only $90, and you could end up with good stuff..

I did it years ago. I got sponsored by a bunch of companies, the best of which was Blaupunkt. I don't want a show car, or a bass thumper... so I just forgot about it.

I was a scout for a while, and they were supposed to pay me for recruiting 20 people (woo hoo, $100!)... I never got it. I asked them about it, never heard back.



They suck.

lol... right on guys... I appreciate the heads up... Like I said, I wasnt really sure about it in the first place... Seemed way too easy... I really could use that 90 dollars for something a little more useful anyhow... Thanks again guys...

Don't get me wrong... you CAN go a long way with them... but it's not "sign up and get free stuff"... you have to work hard at it. You could probably get sponsored by better companies on your own if you research how to do it.
