should I sell both my extra H22A motors??

Well as you guys know, I am getting a divorce. I need to help a friend out with about $300 IF he cant get something taken care of.

I have an H that needs new rods, and an H that needs a head job.

Thats it on both of them.

Should I sell them as is, OR should I fix them and sell them.....I dont have a use for either of them right now, I can later on get another H for the coupe. I already have an H in my sedan.

I do, I have 3 cars at the moment that run great, sedan h22a, coupe f22a6 and the 97 civic, (which I am also selling the civic.)

fix them and sell them. You'll make more than what rods are worth. Possibly same with the head job.

Put the head from the one that needs rods on the one that needs a head job (that just makes me laugh...) Then put the not-so-great parts together and sell them for $300. You can get $200 for the head alone, easily. My cheap-ass even paid that much!

If I do end up selling them, I want local pick up, I DONT want to haul another full motor somewhere

i did that with the f22a when I took it down to tullahoma tn, and it tore my coupe up.

But all the pm's i havent replied to because I still am not sure if I want to sell them or not

how far from tn are you? i know you came down to see tn_accords alot so you know how long it takes to get down this way

i know thats why i edited it really quick cuz i dont want it to seem like i was saying that.

so your not but maybe 6 hours away from me cuz i live near memphis. tn and its 3 and a half hours from me to nashville

I'd go with deever, combine them. Maybe keep the good one, sell the other one. Or.. make one good one, then fix the remaining one and sell them both? Hehe.. Since they're not installed they'd be 100000 times easier to rebuild.
