Hey guys,

Just thought it would be cool to start a thread talking about your post-CB ownership experiences...

-What do you have now?
-Why'd you leave the CB?
-How does the new car compare???
-Do you think you'll ever get back into the CB game?

1. I have what's in my sig
2. I bought a really beat up H22 CB, and it was too problematic to be a DD.
3. The Max is cool. Doesn't ride as well as the CBs did, nor does it look as good... but it has A/C, space and torque. The only thing I regret is not picking one up with a sunroof.
4. Yea but I would have to be able to afford to have at least 2 other cars. Ideally, I would do an H22A Euro-R swap in an SE coupe.

All MAximas have V6s

And it is OK. Stock, it will lose to an H22A I/H/E CB... it dies on top and loses ground around the top of 2nd.

In any case, it is much easier to own than either CB was... outside of a tranny issue I'm having, and an O2 sensor I need to replace, it is OK.

- 1997 GMC Sonoma, Single Cab, 2.2L 4cyl, 5spd, manual windows/locks, no 4wd, basic bottom of the line truck.
- drunk driver hit me. thanks.
- it sucks. i wish i had my accord back. this one...its not very comfortable to drive, NO space what-so-ever, single cab's suck. fuel gauge does not work, so that's also a downer.
- i've been looking for another one since the accident. i'll always love accords. i want one so badly.

-2002 Grand Prix GTP
-Wanted to put the CB7 down for major upgrades
-Torque is nice. Leather is nice. "Newer" is nice. Bose is nice. However, the car breaking down at EXACTLY 100k is NOT nice!
-The CB7 is back. Beat to hell, tired... and 100% reliable.



I never really left the CB7. I never will. But I "moved on" in a way. The GTP is nice, but it'll always be more of an aquaintence. The CB7 is family.

1- 95 nissan maxima se
2- didnt have the time to fix it
3- its a little bigger but i love it

Put the radiator support into the alternator

My Mom has a 1990 EX. I sold off all my parts except the spoiler and wheels, highly unlikely I'll return.

- 1993 Mazda Protege
-Wanted a 5spd
-Its my beater, bought it after i sold my Integra. I got it to put miles and beat on it. No problems what so ever for like 30k miles.
-I never really left the CB game, I had another CB for like 5 months. Drove my integra for a year. Drove the Mazda for a year, and now im back in a CB and never selling it

There aren't many serious members here that seem to be able to say "I left the CB7, and I'm so glad I did!"

Quite a few people, like AccordWarrior, have moved on to significantly "better" cars... better performance, more gadgets, a more updated appearance... But I find it kinda cool to see that even those that won't be returning to the platform still hold it in high regard. Granted, it's a biased crowd... those that are glad they moved on have probably moved on from CB7tuner as well!
