Oh man im about to install Vista and 2 gigs of ram in like a week or two.
I have XP and it runs fine but very slow at times.
Well see how it goes, if i dont like it i can always reinstall XP as i now have 3 XP disks at my disposal lol.
Im sure it should be fine.

Install the ram. Don't install the Vista. Vista is a greater resource hog than XP!
If you want faster, I've always done well with win2k. Very stripped down. Very "you know what you're doing here, so just do it... I won't bother you". I miss that.

I'm in the same boat. My mobo has 2 USB ports on the back and I don't have the fronts hooked up. I've got a printer, webcam, keyboard, mouse, bluetooth hub, cellphone, camera, and Ipod.
Definitely need a usb hub.Comment
