I think my CB7 is totaled

I have a 1990 Accord that was in near perfect condition but had high miles. I found a parts car with 74K miles and pulled the engine and the plan was to install it within the next week or two. Look at what happened.




Next to our house there is a vacant lot . I contacted the owners today and they are coming over next week to see the damages.

The roof is dented in, so is the hood. Vin plate is destroyed and the carpet is wet and so was most of the dash

I'd say it depends on what the insurance says. It could go eitherway

If they were going to total it, depending on how much they are going to give you for it you could probably fix it up yourself.

The car is worth around $3000 imo.

Windshield cost $250?
Vin plate?
Dash $150?
Hood fixed or placed $200+?
Roof fixed $200+?
water damage?

I'm not going to use my homeowners insurance, not worth it and the lot next to me is vacant(no home built on it) so I don't even know if it's insured

i dont know about a 90-91 being worth 3000 i totaled mine and it was in mint cond. with low miles.... they cute me a check for 2200 and let me keep the car.....

i bought my black cb for 200 bucks and the other 2 grand went on paint bodywork tires for my rims h22 swap

got about 3500 invested in my blk cb7 now but i would still say its not worth 3000 in the eyes of the insurance company
