Without regard to the obvious monetary differences, one who had experienced both of these cars would most likely conclude that they are quite opposite in genre.
    Elaboration:

The G35 is meant as a luxury/sports car and gets more compliments on its looks rather than how it performs.

The Accord w/H22a is a family sedan that looks dated yet, with quiet satisfaction, rattles the cages of sports cars of all types (mustangs, g35s, etc.)

What does the OP want to experience from His ride?

A Looker w/ a side of performance or Quiet satisfaction with his successful project car w/ a side of performance.

We all have our biases; I would take the quiet satisfaction of a deceptively quick family car.

I highly doubt a stock h22 in an accord is going to rattle a G35's cage, but that's just me.

I agree, but with a good set of cams it will keep up though if not beat it from a roll.

like everyone said it comes down to your own choice, take it for a test drive and see if you like it. If not see if someone has an h22 around where you live and see if they let you test drive it. Then decide between the two.

Indeed mine did. Two car lengths on the street surely put a frown on one G35 owner's face. Especially when my three passengers and myself all waved at him when we passed.
He was so "rattled" that he proceeded to give me the middle finger at the next stop light.

edit* Was from a 45 mph roll, and he had two passengers. I passed him at about 60 and let off as I hit 100.

Numbers dont count for much on the street. Even so, 14 second cars arent impressive when theyre supposed to be "sporty" and "fast"

Well can we at least agree that a low 14 sec car is faster than a high 14 sec car?

                      NO. HIGH 14S ARE FASTER.

Honestly, 14s arent impressive for sports cars. At all. This is why I just dont like G35s or Zs that much.

Hmmm I cant seem to find the stock car 1/4 times thread that we had. For some reason I thought the Z did better than 14s.

Either way a g35 is still a nice car even if it only runs 14s. It all depends on what the buyer wants. Not everybody wants/needs a 10 sec car....

Alright I'm not reading all these replies but here is my opinion.

If you make good financial decisions, then you will go with the H22 (price of the swap is nothing over a 5 year time period).
If you don't mind making a poor financial decision (buying any new car is a bad investment), and you want to impress your friends and girls, then by all means get the G35.

Stop the bench racing. A high 14 vs a low 14 is definitely within the realm of a driver's race.

Also, most of the G's "low" 14 advantage comes from the hole shot. Remove that, and it loses a lot of advantage. Period.

I have seen them get beat by stock H22's as well. So clearly, it apparently isn't as isolated as everyone thinks.

www.dragtimes.com Im being biased, but its capable of 13s, but it would seem the majority dont run any better than 14s. Sort of like H22 Accords being capable of 14s when the majority run low 15s.
