It's no porsche, nor an evo, but it's heaps of fun when taken for what it is: A well balanced, well-tuned sports car with the styling and handling that make it such.
If you get the G35, this is pretty much a car you WONT TOUCH besides an intake and exhaust, if that.
the h22 cb, well.. whatever you want to do with that. If you're only going to do intake and exhaust, then your better off getting a car thats much nicer and faster.
The h22 will always continue to be a project car. it will break down, something will go worng with the swap, (unless your not doing it) etc etc. With the new car, your not going to have all that. Its a car you jump in and go on your way with.
i dont know, thats how i looked at it when I thought about a 1J and the 350

If the swap is done right, itll be as reliable as a stock car. Itll still be an old car and things will still wear out, but in my opinion the h22 swap is the way to go right now. Think about gas, too.

Id take a 350z over a g35 any day.. You don't have money for either of them anyways... Buy the g35 and hope you don't get it reposed when you have a change in your life or any unexpected expenses lol.

well remember this. ull have the G35 for like 6mths then find things ull want to do to customize it. and wont be able. i prefer a Lexus SC300, 98-01 Lude or 90-96 300zx if i say bye to the CB7.

Prior to buying the Si I was looking at a 350z or G35 and a question I made sure to ask was would modifiying the car void the warranty and more than one dealer told me that it would not....They even said that I could turbo/supercharge it as long as it was installed by them.....Im not sure if they were just trying to get the sale cuz it seemed too good to be true.
It could also be different where hes from....but I cant see how putting a lip kit or anything cosmetic on would void the warranty.
Gs arent that great. I sat in one at the Dallas Auto Show and I really wasnt impressed at all. I mean its an Infiniti. A luxury car, supposedly. Luxury brand, anyway. They really dropped the ball with the G.
Gs are nice. My friend has one, they are super fast, way faster than an H22 CB. The insides are nice, cheap compared to Bimmers and Audis but way better than CBs.
In 2 years there will be 20 year old CBs. You have to ask urself, is it worth the effort to keep that car running? Maybe as a side car but not a DD.
In any case, thread starter doesn't sound like he's in the position to make this purchase. Wait till you have a decent income and some money saved away before you buy something like this.
