Well here in SD the storm is brewing right now.I'm not looking forward to seeing what it brings today.Especially after yesterday with the golf ball size and smaller hail that hit all over our area.Which most likely totaled my fiance's maxima. Be safe to all of you in the areas of the storms!

i actually got my encounter here in Northern VA on video. Never seen anything in my life. Was driving down 66west toward 66east toward Washington DC didnt realize the storm had been following me. Later I found it came from west virginia. So i say followed me because as soon as I turned off the highway I caught the eye of the storm, I mean the clouds were gray the whole time but it was humid and warm so my windows were open. Then all of a sudden thunder with no rain, then BOOM the rain starts hitting. I am trying to drive then gusts of wind start lifting my CB7 side to side so me and everyone on the road instantly stopped, no honking or anything because we all felt the wind. Was at least 70 - 80 mph never ever felt winds like that in Virginia ever. I see this one guy holding an umbrella, of course his umbrella broke and went flying and he couldn't even stand up, the wind was knocking him down! I started yelling to him "HEY WHATS HAPPENING" He said "I DONT KNOW" Then I replied "GET COVER IM GOING HOME"
THEN BOOM FIREWORKS!! A transformer blows up. I started racing home (instinctively) there were huge sticks everywhere in the road I'm trying to avoid some I just had to run over I could hear them smack my Oil Pan I just cringed and hoped for the best. Got home to see BIG branches from our neighbors big tree blocking the road. I get out and start dragging the branches (HEAVY) to the sides of the road so cars could get through and obviously was in front of my house. Some drivers got out and helped me then I start cleaning the big branches from my yard and driveway and realize the storm is not over I could feel the negative atoms in the clouds and started hearing power lines and started realizing I was a positive magnet so I got goosebumps and said "you ain't killing me" and ran inside lol.

This is insane for this area. I think countries are doing something with the Ionosphere. They shouldn't MESS WITH MOTHER NATURE! patents for HAARP? and what the military is using it for? 1billion watts? I think China was retaliating for the earthquake but aimed for washington DC but missed. Thats just my opinion. A crazy bet, but

I already have a hiding spot in out of the elements for the CB lined up. I'm sure I will be out watching the sky when I get back from the gym until this stuff passes.

It aint sunny, but theres been no rain. Winds a little gusty and the clouds have gotten progressively thicker since this morning...

I really dont wish anyone any harm, but itd be nice if a tornado came down on top of my work, and there just happen to be nobody inside or around, and the building is destroyed.

                  :/

Starting to sound like if there are tornadoes they are going to be smaller then predicted and on the ground for a short time, instead of the big long range ones. Hail and wind are supposed to be the more severe risk around the KC area tonight. Up to baseball sized hail and winds up to 80 miles per hour are possible from what I have heard.

Everything is still out west of Topeka right now over Fort Riley, and the spotter's out that way are saying the storm is moving around 50-60 miles per hour so we still have about 45 minutes to an hour before this gets to around KC unless it starts picking up speed.

It was rather nice in central TX today. Started out cloudy with some sprinkling here and there and the sun came out this afternoon.

                            So.....?

Its 9pm and nothing. The clouds i spoke of earlier have since disipated and its actually gotten rather calm and cool out tonight. Perhaps, the perverbial "calm before the storm", but we shall see.
