Depending on the state, you at least have to register them. In some cases (pistols, conceal/carry) you have to have a permit, sometimes require taking a class, and having the certificate. As far as automatic weapons, only police and military are allowed to have them. There are exceptions to that rule, though I don't know the specifics.

those rifles I showed are SEMI auto..meaning...you have to keep pulling the trigger instead of holding down the trigger ( full auto )

YES, you have have attend a class ( 12 hours )...then go to your local county sherrif's dept and attain an application for the CCW license.

certificate is NOT a license to carry..it just claims you completed the course.

then after the background check. ..assuming you're accepted to receive the CCW license. you will have to go and pay a fee...take a picture. and sign more legal documents stating you're not a terrorist...you will not commint a felony with that said concealed firearm..etc..etc

some states...it may take a few months to complete the background check ( FBI conducts the check )...

the CCW license is valid for 5 years ( here in Ohio )

and its $55 for renewal.

so every 5 years...you have to sign a recheck app. and when they come back from doing the quick check to see if you have committed any felonies or 1st degree misdemeanors ( Domestic Violence ) ..and it comes back clean...you will have to pay $55 for the renewal for the next 5 years to hold that CCW license.

Actually the NFA does allow anyone who agrees to be fingerprinted, passes the background check and pays the annual tax stamp of $200 to own them. This is, of course provided it's legal in your jurisdiction and the firearm cannot have been manufactured after 1986. You can even own them here in MD which is really great

I agree with what the thread starter said, for the most part. In Arizona, I think the rules are less strict.

Getting a Desert Eagle is definitely compensating. They look cool but aren't much better than Llamas. Did I mention they cost around 1300 bucks a piece?

Seriously though, I wouldn't want a chrome plated AK, this one almost looks more like it was just polished. I've seen chrome handguns a lot shinier than this one.
