Hey, anyone on here know how much it costs (roughly) to get hood repainted a different color?

i got a new hood for my jetta and its a different shade of blue, but no big dent, so it looks better. i just have to figure out how much i need to save up for the painting.

How "quality" of a job are you looking for?
How much are you looking/willing to spend?

You could go out and find some place that will paint it to match the rest of the car. Or you could go out and rattle can it.

I was thinking about getting mine redone, but if its over half the cost of a CF hood, screw it, i'll go cf. An extra 150 isnt going to break me if i was prepared to spend that much in the first place

I just recently had my CF hood which I bought off craigslist re-cleared for like 75 from my friends friend, so I would think, since he had to buff my hood down and then reclear, it should be maybe a little more? like 125-175 maybe? since you gotta consider paint clear and buffing.
