Rollercoaster Tycoon anyone?

Im talking old school, original.

I still play this game. Not sure what it is, but i love it. Got started playing it back when i was in like 7th or 8th grade. Went over to a friends house and he had it and it was the latest and greatest thing. Ever since, ive owned a copy and still enjoy playing it.

Say what you will, but i enjoy playing it while listening to Madonna's "Like a Prayer" or Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right But It's Okay(techno remix)"



Just curious as to who else still enjoys this game.

fantastic game, i used to play the original a LOT. but after time passed it slowly lost its fun... one of those games that gets boring after a while, like the Sims series. but it was very very very well done and i loved the style of graphics. and i loved designing coasters to intentionally launch trains into the air to see where they all land.

love the game...but like cp[mike] said it got boring after a while.....I always seemed to design rollercoasters that noone wanted to ride cuz they were too scary lol

I spent an entire summer on that game. Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 was too different for me though, and I could not take it. I still have the original one with all the expansion packs around here somewhere, along with RCT2.

RCT 2 is the best. part 1 is good too. but part 3 sucks.


btw no one can make a better go-kart ride than me.
btw=I always customize the land around the rides to make'em look better. like making the tracks go in & out of the moutains

I liked the names you could give ppl and i liked naming rides.

I forget all the tricks to it but they were pretty cool.

also its 10x better when you use the cheat codes. no money limit=awsome park

I dont remember how to get unltd money. I know you can name ppl and they pay 2x for everything, but...

I just remember the names. Like the 2 that make the go-karts faster, one person paints...

I liked hiring the staff too. they never did their job! Even when you give them beats to walk, there was always trash and busted benches, lol.

I used to play Roller Coaster Tycoon and SimCity all day long.

RCT2 and SimCity 4 deluxe all day long. I love those smooth music they have on.

rtc2 is awsome love that game so much the first ones good too rct3 just turned into the shittyness that was simcoaster.
