Have you seen the dyno charts for the V6 6 speeds? They dyno damned near 268 HP to the WHEELS. That's pretty much 290 crank HP.

If you take drivetrain loss of around 17% in, that puts it at just about 281 crank hp...which still is not bad at all.

I hate when civilians drive cars that police have... like crown vics and the brown and tan sherrif color impalas... Everytime I see them I instinctively slow down... even if I'm not going but 5mi over the speed limit... and I always take my time passing them on the interstate... then when I get close enough and notice it's civilian... I get pissed because I could've been about a mile further than I am at the time... lol... I dunno

I believe that one was also green, and running on 87 octane. TOV also tested another one on a Dynapack, and it put EXACTLY 268HP to the hubs. Subtract the losses for the wheels, and it is still at about 290 crank HP. The one on the dynapack was new and green as well. It STILL broke them loose at the top of first gear.

In contrast, the auto tranny models are testing around 212WHP, which is accurate for 268 crank HP.

If you put 91 in the 6 speeds, they lay down within 5WHP of what the TL-S is rated at, and it is more accurately rated at 300HP instead of 286.

So either way, they are sandbagging, unless it is an auto tranny.
