I'm actually a bit interested in the newer GM engines myself. Most lower end GM cars have been total crap, even those using well-made engines (like the late 80's Nova). GM never put enough into their cheaper cars, focusing their efforts on theluxury lines and sports cars. I think now they are starting to come around with the Cavaliers, Sunfires, Ions (I hate em, but they're trying!) etc... They realized that all the inexpensive Japanese and German cars are getting LOTS of attention due to their reliability and customizablity.
Cliff notes: I think the GM sport compact cars are finally breaking into the quality mainstream. I'd like to learn a little about em myself!

i kinda just showed up one day and got addicted. dont really know why im saying this. probly cause this is the first time ive ever read this whole thread. o yea welcome to the newbies, i was one like 2 months ago .
