    Damn NORTH EAST : RUST on s2000

    It has conquered yet another Honda.
    This is the first time i've see it on an s2000.
    Yes, its that serious out here

          Its a 2001 model with 120k miles.
          Very dirty, as you can see from the wheel shot.
          It had VA inspection (sticker in the middle of the windshield) but now has NJ.
          Im assuming its been around these parts since '00.

          I wanted to take the rubber strips off, but then again i dont think the customer would've liked that.

                    Winte is not necessarily the problem. Owners are though. Some people just don't care as much about their car or maybe they do but have very little or know maintenance knowledge at all. I don't think they go checking under the car or quarter panels ever.

                          Salt is what usually does it. The NorthEast is HORRIBLE with that. We pre-salt the streets now when we expect snow!


                          It's not a Honda problem. It's a salt problem. Those rubber strips are a major player in it, though.

                              my suspension is already rusty and its like... a few months old

                              i see post-2000 hondas rusted all the time up here.
