Pull that 4.0 and replace it with a 5.0


The bed is an easy fix... You can replace the entire thing easily enough (unless Rangers are weird, and don't have removable beds like other trucks...)


For a beater, it's pretty damn nice! I'm not much of a Ford fan, but I can accept a Ford truck If you got an Escort, I'd have to smack you!

The bed I'm just not worried about. I'm getting good at the whole auto body thing, seeing as it's half my school day, so I know I could fix it. I'm choosing not to though, because since it's my work/play truck, it's going to get beat up anyways. I will, however, fix it if it starts to rust there. The rest of the rust I'm not too concerned with.


It's got that amazing old ford truck smell... mmm...

And yeah, I might get better tips with it muddy!! I got my Dakota stuck for 5 minutes in someones long ass drive way yesterday... That ends tonight at 5:30 when I work in the Ranger for the first time... heheheh.

my friend has a lil ranger a bit newer. that 4.0 impressed me bc it lived to 275k miles although alot of the rest of the truck did not aka suspension, brakes, diff, clutch, etc
