This pisses me off. I figure this will happen to me eventualy. I get stressed just watching this. Cops have too much power.
Edit: Its funny how his attitude changes throughout the video. He almost gets scared when he finds out that the kid has a camera.

There are 663,535 police officers in the US. This guy was obviously an asshole and power-tripping. He is clearly not representative of the other officers in the US. Stop being narrow-minded.

Seriously, is their job incredibly stressful? That's an honest question.

I've been pulled over just like everyone else, sometimes for a good reason, sometimes not, and I have yet to meet an officer who isn't a total jerk. Not in the sense that I got a ticket because I was breaking the law, but even when I get let off they flip major attitude and act as condescending as possible in response to me being polite. I think there's at least one officer registered here, someones dad might be one, can anyone genuinely explain why so many police (traffic) officers are complete cocks? There has got to be a reason.

I suggest a ride along. Take a couple hours of one day and ride with a police officer. Look at all the BS that they have to put up with in one 8 or more hour shift.

What you don't hear about on the news or on the Internet is the officer that runs into a burning house and wakes up a family when the roof of their house is on fire. That happend just last night around here. Family of 4 sleeping during a thunderstorm, didn't realize that their house had been struck by lightning and their entire wood shake roof was covered in flames. Local news failed to mention that.

Or the Police Officer that is simply patrolling a neighborhood when his vehicle is shot at.

It is an extremely dangerous, stressful and demanding job. It takes a special kind of human to be a police officer and risk your ass everyday for the public, some of who couldn't care less, until they are the ones who is getting shot at or losing a family member after some random shooting.

Yes there are bad apples in the field. I would like to see someone name one legitimate profession where there are not bad apples in the bunch.

That video was an abuse of power and it happens everyday all around the world. There will be those who defend what the cop was doing, and those who won't, but this thread is going to be locked because like mentioned it is not the first, second or even third time that a post similar to this has been locked. Police abuse is a good subject to discuss, but in a different context.
