They can put 15 inches deep worth of undercoating on the car, but they can't keep em from rusting out....... there's something SOOOO wrong with that.

Are you finding rust you didnt know you had, or just cleaning all the undercoating off? Hopefully its cleaning and not finding rust.

I've got the control arms out to install new bushings and powder coat and they're just CAKED with undercoating.

well its what honda didnt realize back then. it just happened back in the day so you live, learn, and be better. thats what makes honda awesome... haha

There is no undercoating on these cars. That is road grime.

When they were brand new you could look up the wheelwells, the underbody, and the suspension components and see black plastic, paint, and bare steel.

the drivers side for some reason has half of the wheel housing with undercoat. the other side if completely covered with undercoat.
the problem with these cars is the seam sealer at the wheel wells and the and the plastic things that hold the back bumper at the wheel wells....

Must've been a dealer thing then, because what I'm cleaning off is NOT road grime, lol. Unless road grime now consists of copious amounts of rubber and glue......
