Everything for the board is payed via Paypal now anyway, so as long as I keep a balance there, I feel that the board is covered. When I get cash, it goes in my pocket. When there's no cash in Paypal, I DO pay for the board out of pocket... but still... I like knowing that the money FOR the board is going directly TO the board.

Also, I've had some irritating car issues the past 3 days, so I haven't been able to get together with Matt regarding the upgrade. I'm going to try to get the newest software tomorrow, send it his way, and then have them get to it as soon as they can.

Anyway, step one is complete. I renewed my vBulletin license, and I now have the newest version of the vBulletin software. I emailed it to Matt, so whenever he gets it and gets together with his partner, they will begin. It's the weekend now, so they may not be able to do anything until next week. We'll have our new site soon, though!


Once the new software is up, please be patient. There will very likely be a few bugs, a number of different things (see cd5tuner.com for an example of some of the newer stuff), and an overall large amount of changes. It'll be as new to me as it is to everyone else, so PMing the living snot out of me asking how to do this or that won't help anyone. If you have a question, post in OT about it, and someone that knows the answer will help out!

The estimate is an hour... no more than 3. The guys at Pandemic Hosting know what they're doing, so I trust that. However, as with cars, computers always present unexpected problems... so I'm not discounting the possibility that it could take longer.

If the site is down, it may not have a message up saying what's going on. As usual, you can find any discussion about the upgrade on CD5tuner.com once things go down here.

Donations are accepted and appreciated ANY time. We're covered on the upgrade, thankfully... but I'm still paying the hosting costs, as well as the costs to provide the merchandise (the decals are the only things that get me any profit... and the calendars, for one month out of the year...)
