      Sucks for him, but at least it wasn't a CF hood. That would have been much more expensive to replace.

                  Seems to me it's not the Neon's fault. There appears to be a high failure rate in the type of clutch (DCR) he was using. This happened to be a catastrophic failure. Don't be so quick to bag on it just because it is an SRT4.
