The last couple weeks have been going great. Got new rims, got a stereo for the wife's ride, got an a6 cam and p6 ECU to go with it, got a bunch of parts to sell, sold some of it, had a baby that already knows how to launch off the line, just a great couple weeks.
Tonight I decided to drive my coupe (the damn kids have been making me take the minivan so they can spread out and have more space) to see the wife and newbie at the hospital. On the way I drop the two older kids off at their grandparents for the weekend, went to the hospital, visit, bond, choke up a little. My mother-in-law takes home the four year old for the night, I kiss the wife good bye, kiss the baby good bye, get my car back from the valet, pull out and realize:
I have the entire night to myself.
I can just cruise around, listen to the stereo, race a few light to light runs if I want to, all I need is someone to ride shotgun. And EVERYONE is either sleeping (at 9:30 on Friday?? sissy), planning on crashing in an hour, or just don't feel like leaving home to roll around. And it's just not the same by yourself sometimes.
All my friends are punks. lol
