I just did. Which sux because I scored a good set of 15" 5 star double spoke alloys with matching new tires for $150 from a truck driver at work. I was driving down the main road from my house when I felt the steering wheel shimmy and POW.. I see the drivers's side wheel go out towards the intersection bouncing and a expedition barely missing it.
Meanwhile my ass is ridin dirty, car bottomed out on driver's side sliding towards the berm , trying to keep from wrecking into it. I was able to get to the edge onto the shoulder with my rotor buried in the dirt. Good thing somebody(another nissan head) stopped and took me back to my house to grab sockets and my scissor's jack that I of course didn't have with me.
So umm..that tire is blown, the rim is scathed on the lip, but not cracked or bent. Oh and my fender was a casualty, but its no biggie. pick and pull has quite a few donor cars. Reason for wheel coming off is prolly cause I ignored the one partially stripped stud and couldn't get lug nut on super tight. Not going back and retorquing the nuts after a week didn't help either. I fail.
