2) Its just like when you work somewhere that requires a uniform with their company name on it. They ask/tell you that anytime you're in that uniform, you're representing THAT name. So in public, even when you're not working, do your best to be on your best behavior. If you're sporting your "____" company uniform and you act like a douche or an idiot to some lady at the gas station, she, or the ppl around, will see that and go, "I dont wanna go there if thats how they act!"

So basically, do your best to not "wear" CB7Tuner.com on other forums. Period. If you do, dont flame or start shit. show them up by being a good rep for the site.

I dont like to say I am from any forum. I might be part of it but I dont see the point in it. If anyone needs specific help I will point them toward this forum but other than that I dont show any affiliation with any forum. You dont own it your just a member thats just how I see it. But I dunno thats just me.

The only time I mention cb7tuner in other forums is when I think someone could get more info here than they could at Hondaswap etc, etc....This is the best forum for 90-93 accord tech. I dont even have one anymore and i still frequent here often.

It's called guilt by association. If someone has the username "CB7Tuner" on a large forum (say Honda Tuner for intance) and they make a complete asshat of themselves, people who see a website called "CB7Tuner.com" will most likely come to the assumption that said asshat is associated with the site, therefore the site is full of asshats. See where I'm going with this? People make assumptions all the time based on misinformation. Those assumptions aren't always pretty. All deeve wants is for the people that use "CB7Tuner" or similar as a username to conduct themselves as if they were representing this site, and be courteous, respectful and intelligent. That will make people assume (correctly, I hope) that our site is full of NON-asshats, people who are courteous, respectful, intelligent and helpful. After all, that's what this site is about: helping each other. If people assume we're just a bunch of immature asshats, the site will lose potential future helpful members.

Yeah, this is all I can do... ask the people that are on the site to please not pose as a representative of this site. Those that are unaware of their actions will hopefully see this and become aware.


I'm not looking to ban anyone from the internet, or sue over naming rights... I'm just asking for people to not create a username that suggests a representation of this site... especially if you are not an authority on the model, and capable of acting like a mature adult.





Recently, a certain website was whored endlessly on other well-known sites. I won't say the name of the site, but I will say that one of the owners was the one doing the whoring. People HATED them for it. In addition to shameless whoring, that person provided horrible information, and then kicked and screamed like a child when called on it. When they were banned, they made multiple accounts to continue their whoring. Then the retaliation started. People dug up his private info, pictures of him and his girlfriend, etc... How did he respond? By drawing his homies in close on his forum and talking bad about those that he pissed off... calling them childish.

I have no respect for this person, or his forum. The thing is, people were already bombarding his forum with porn spam and other nasty things before they even knew he was the owner! He was just a representative of the site, as far as they knew.



Now, none of the "cb7tuner" or "cb7tuner.com" names that I've seen have done anything horrible... I'm not saying anyone has done anything wrong yet... but with 7 or 8 forums (that I've found) with members bearing that title, i can't help but think it's not just one person. So, one of those nameholders could cause a fuss, and it could reflect poorly on us here.
