Yep. I bought a house, moved in, and I am now happily sitting in my dining room (where all my furniture ended up). I'm enjoying the first month of being a homeowner... before the bills start coming in! I'm glad to be back to CB7... I missed you guys (and girls)! :sniff:

Hope you enjoy the new house. I live in an apartment, so I will second the motion that they suck. But hey it is better than commuting 90 miles every day just to get to school. Plus I don't have to live w/ my parents. If I had the resources I would buy a house to live in while at school and then sell it when I graduate. I know of some people who have done that. They made some money out of the deal. Anyway, congrats on the new house.FSAE(F Series Accord Enthusiasts) "A dying breed..." #15

yeah, it's all good. I am so far fulfilling my goal of never renting. I see it as a total waste of money. I was able to get a mortgage at 6% (with my mom's fiancee co-signing, but hey... you takes what you can gets... I would've gotten 8% without him)
So, with that, and my roommate paying half of everything (and providing free cable and internet... he works for the cable company) I'm in good shape! I hope, anyway!
I'm going to school full time (18 credits) and working part time as a waiter, so I'm cutting it kinda close.
It's worth it, though. The house is great! Single family cape, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom. No garage . 100x162 lot. All appliances were left for me, plus a new roof and central air unit.
The neighbors are awesome, and there are a number of hooked up Hondas on my block (including a really nice CRX and a sweet Integra). I have the only CB7 with any considerable work done, though!
