ive come up to a couple accidents where this has happened...
1. i dont know what or howit happened but the front-end was 40-50 feet away from the accident.
2. I was going to race 3 other vehicles and decided not to cause it was wet out and just didnt feel safe. So they took off at the light and had to of hit 100+ mph, its like a mile strip with a couple little turns and an intersection in the middle. When i came up to the second intersection(not in the middle), i noticed an accident, slowed down and sure enough, it was only 1 of the vehicles. It was ripped apart, front end was BEHIND the rear of the car like 40', on the opposite side of the road and almost into a canal. There was a lady that pulled over and went to the driver side of the ripped vehicle. As i passed all i heard was the lady 'screaming' "what happened here? who did this?" She was extremely hysterical. I think she might of saw something gruesome... BUT the other 2 vehicles fled the scene....no where in sight...
Ive always wondered what had happened...

Made me think twice about racing on the street... STREET RACING NOT FTW!

That actually sounds like a pretty good conclusion....Kinda like what i was saying earlier..looks like the front-end was ripped away from the rest of the car...

I dont think it was t-boned by anything cuz the glass isnt cracked/broken.

On a sidenote....my guess would be something hit hard enough and at the right angle to shear the front end off and not shatter glass or anything else.

no its not, there was no where to stop in the direction i was going on that road(a median on both sides)and there were already 7-10 other cars that already HAD to stop cause the busted up car was blocking traffic... I didnt want to stick my head in that hole and be accused of being a young kid with a honda that was involved...which i wasnt. so i kept going on home...

The picture angles are a little misleading, but it appears that it got hit from the passenger's side with such force that the entire front end sheared off. That would be consistent with the wheel damage, the hood curled in from the right front framerail, the damage on the passenger door, and the fact that the driver's side frame rail didn't seperate (less impact force by that time).

I would also guess T boned based on the fact that the damage appears to be fairly evenly distributed along the side (i.e. it was hit with something wide and flat, such as the front of a vehicle.

Most certainly, the car yawed some as it was hit, so that could explain the mirror and door as well. It would be nice to see some better pictures.

As far as the glass, I am not sure. The only thing I can think of is that the Safety Cell on that car worked so well, the glass didn't distort enough to shatter. Of course, depending on how hard and fast the car got hit, perhaps it never got to the windshield because the front seperated.

Either way it sucks.
