Well, the meet was back in 06 and i liked the song then, but ive been into them for probably about a year and a half now...

I saw them a while back in concert with Comback Kid, Smoke or Fire, and Silverstein. Rise Against has been my favorite band for quite some time now and they do nothing less than impress the shit out of me with every new album. They have another one coming out soon with their new guitarist as well.

and speaking of life less frightening. Andrew and I were thinking about doing an acoustic / bass cover of that song.

I dig em, but I'm not a huge fan. As good as they are, and as diverse as their sound really is... it just comes off as generic to me for some reason. They have a great song on the Rock Against Bush compilation (also on NFSU 2, I think)
