Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    h22 cb7 HELP!!!

    I just got my car back from the shop and its runnin like crap. I thought it was gonna feel alot faster than what I had b4 (f22b) but its kinda hard 2 tell. I got some issues with the people who installed it because it keeps shutting off which they said "no back pressure so its gonna run like shit". Is that true??

    They also didnt hook up my rpm gauge sayin they dont kno why its not workin anymore..?? and they said i could get a tach which is more money!!

    whats goin on here? my rpm gauge is gone? my car keeps shutting off when i slow down or when im stopped. It wont stay running better yet??

    SOMEONE LEMME KNO WASSUP.PLEASE.

    surely you got a the ecu outta a h22, if not im not an expert, no back pressure...... surely they aint referring to your exhaust, because that just wouldnt make any damn since

          sounds like you butt is hurting. because they just fucked you in your ass. any shop should never let a car out their shop if it isn't running right. especially if you're paying for the swap.

          try to take a video of your car when it is messing up. maybe that can help everyone out better to diag your car.

            Sounds they fucked your swap or didnt do anything right. First things first check timing, Make sure proper ecu is being ran, back pressure is a myth on our cars. Technically it doesnt matter much on our cars. Seems like they are pulling shit out of there asses to cover something. Any CEL?

              well I got the ECU that came with the motor. Im gonna try and take a video of my car and post it up.

                check the side and make sure it says p13 and if your gauge isnt working more than likely your harness isnt pluged in on that plug. where did you get your swap? so no one else will go there!!!! this is why you and a buddy should do swaps. everyone should!

                  Anybody who says you need backpressure is a moron. If this was a professional shop, I feel sorry for you and anyone else that gives them money.

                  If they agreed to install your swap, make them do it right. They took on the job, they need to complete it, at least to be functional. If the tach isn't working, it's not functional.






                  And, for our enjoyment... have them explain why the car needs backpressure. I'd LOVE to hear it.

                    what is the cel light and codes?? I kno my batt light came on once and once my power steering felt funny right after it stalled. It ran good today but still no tach and i think my gas gauge is broken cuz i put 6 bucks of premium and my gas gauge light keeps staying on. I posted this video.

                          sounds like timing or like an ecu problem......i would go back and make sure they fix it for you other wise throw a brick through there window....but im just a hot headed Italian

                              I think they are. they had 2 buy a whole new set of wires charged me 50bucks for em so..how would i go about getting my car tuned ??
