Honda Accord Euro

hi, anyone know much about this car? i always liked the look of it and my dad finally purchased one today as i am driving the cb7 now, test drove and they seem ok and 6 speed manual is the best . will get pictures up when its delivered in 2-3 weeks or so.

If your talking about the Honda Accord Euro R then yea. its a nice car. Didnt think australia got them. I thought they got the Type R. Oh well either way nice car.

Was there truly an Accord Type R? I thought the Euro R was the only R badged Accord (being considerably less sporty than the true Type R cars, it was more of a luxury car will some balls).

Since it has the 6 speed manual, I'm assuming it's similar to the US Acura TSX (I wish we got it in Accord form!) It's a nice car. Should be a very refined ride, and a blast to drive! Supposedly the Acura TL-S (what do they call it over there?) is a much better car though. Either way, it'll be nice!

The Honda Accord Type-R was produced from 1998 – 2003 The engine is H22A7 that produces 212 PS (209 bhp) @ 7,200 rpm & 158 lb-ft @ 6,700 rpm.

Yep the type R and the Euro R are diff designs. The type R is the older bodystyle as the euro R was the newer bodystyle but I only heard of rumored sales in Japan only =O (euro R that is). Also all of them run h22A =D.

I would think it has. Most type R equipped cars have a factory lsd. And the newer euro R as I forgot to clarify has the k20a.

^^ What I thought. Most R/Type S badged models are track oriented models by Honda. And I am pretty sure they include LSD in most of them.
