With the new edition of the photography forum I figured it would be a good idea to lay down some rules, and give some ideas to make this successful and also give it some organization.
1. As in many forums on CB7Tuner.com, we suggest that there will be NO FLAMING whatsoever. This will not be tolerated on any level.
2. When posting an image in a new thread, please include the information of your camera setup, i.e camera, lens, flash, etc, and if you are more knowledgeable with cameras, please list your exif data, aperture, ISO, shutter speed and other setting informations, in which can be more helpful to other users. (this can help also for critiques from other members.) This EXCLUDES point and shoot users but please state that a point and shoot camera was used with model name or number.
3. To be more organized, if you are posting more than 3 images, please list them as it will be alot easier for other members to critique your photos.
4. To keep any arguements from happening, if you do not want any type of advice/suggestions/comments/critiques, please state that in your first post.
5. To limit the memory of the CB7Tuner servers, it would be better if you post your pictures at the pixels of 1024x800. If you are attaching any photos, 2 should be your max. If you are embedding images, 8 should be your max.
6. Please only post the best pictures that you have/or want to get critiqued on and just link us to the other pictures that you have. Also beware that anytime a picture is posted it is subject to be critiqued, positive or negative comments can be made but be aware that people are just trying to help you improve. If you wish for other members to not critique your photos please do so by stating that in the beginning of the thread.
7. Please do not post another Photographer's picture without proper permission.
8. Any threads about PHOTSHOPPING or PHOTOSHOP will be deleted. That has nothing to deal with photography. This part of the forum is not for photoshopping pictures but to ask for comments and critiques from fellow members and questions about photography equipment.
9. Please note that the threads created maybe moved if needed to. The Moderators of this forum pay close attention here and are very strict about posting picture(s) without any photographic skills whatsoever.
10. Please avoid from asking for opinions on which brand of DSLR or any other camera you should purchase. It is up to you because the decision is based on personal preference. The best answer to that question is for you to go to a local store and try it out yourself and read up on reviews on the internet.
11. DO NOT CREATE A NEW THREAD IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SERIES OF PHOTOS WITH THE SAME THEME. If you have five photos or less of the same theme pls added it on to the photography thread. Do not create new threads for random photos or if you have fewer than 5 photos.
