ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Just make sure you run a thick enough gauge wire to your amp from the battery. I have two 4 or 8 gauge I forget wires running to my two amps in the back and one of them is beginning to burn near the terminal, probaly the one for the sub. So I'm going to be running a 0 gauge probaly, which is overkill but my brothers both have 0 gauge and it just looks hot

Also, I'm running a yellow top battery. If you have a low end battery don't listen to your stereo too long when the car is off or you might kill it and need a jump start. You may need to get one of those capacitor things that go in your trunk and suck up some juice so your lights don't flicker when your subs hit hard.

Your planned setup will be fine on your stock system. Suggestion would be to run a 0-2 gauge power wire as this give you power handling capabilities if you decide to upgrade. If you haven't replaced your battery recently it would be a good idea to to into a drycell type (Optima, Stinger) as they are built to handle power draws. Lastly if you decide to add another amp dedicated to the subs a Cap would also help.

Yea I agree with you there. I don't think I really need to save 20 cents on toilet paper at the expense of child and slave labourers, but thats a little off topic.

If you are looking for a good place to buy The products might i suggest Etronics.
They are great for reliability, price and the government actually buys a lot of its electronics from them (blue tooth headsets and other things)
Another advantage with them is that you can often purchase an extended warranty.

Here is a link to your deck.
