How long will you have your cb?

I got to thinking last night...how long will i have my cb??? If i ever come across a better job or more money, keeping her for as long as i can wont be a problem..but then i was thinking, if i were to maxx her out-h22 swap and all the fixens, all the lights, all the int/ext mods, etc. then what? do i DD her until the engine starts stooping then drop another one?? cuz we all know that as the years go on new and better parts/engines, etc will come about and eventually we'll have put so many misc parts from other cars in there it wont be anything but the shell of the cb7..i guess we'll all eventually have to get rid of em, i was just wanderign how long some of you planned on keeping yours.

well, since my accord has 67,xxx miles on it, i'm gonna keep it untill i'm outta highschool. probably a few years after, if i do the ext/int/eng mods i wanted. if not, fuck it. cars make great graduation presents

Well, mine has 205,xxx on it and im hoping to get the H drop before i reach 225K i may let it go to 240 but the guy that sold me the car said that the engine/tranny only had 80K-90K(now100K-110K) miles on it but ti doesnt run like it..ive changed the oil every 3k since i bought it, kept fluids changed and properly maintained, all filters/wires/plugs everything and im hoping the money side of the scale fills up faster than the miles side lol. I was just thinking, after i do the drop, fix the few dents/scratches, get her new shoes/lowered, maybe painted..then what. i dont wanna sell her..I'll have to DD her until the H gets to like 200+k miles and drop another engine in and just keep cycling.

Who's had theirs the longest?

I wanna know how long some of you guys have had your cb's?? Or if it was your parents/friends, how long they had it.

I knew this old lady about 4 or 5 years ago that had a 91 ex and this thing was MINT! i mean no int blemishes, original hubs, no cracks, no rust--nothing!! This thing was a beauty and i asked her if she was the original owner and she was! She said she took it to a mechanic every 3K miles and told him to change/fix/repair everything. The craziest thing is that at the time it had 140some-odd miles on it!! Whenever i see cars and old ladies like that i wanna ask if theyll trade me lol!

My 92 was my dads. He had it since 93 off the dealership. Then i got it in HS(2001), senior year. Had it for 2 years then had to give it to my sister. She wrecked it(2003) and now i've been dying to get another. I made the mistake of getting something i couldnt afford. A 98 Lude. Best car to get if you've got the money and if your into the H-series. Now im driving a 95 Saturn that was handed down to me. Saving my money now for the CB7.....

Poor CB's...i read about someone's g/f stealing theirs and "ditching" it (sorry dude) and then you gave yours to your sis and she trashed it...jeez. I refuse to let anyone drive my car unless ABSOLUTELY neccessary.

Yeah, the car was still under my parents name, so i had to let it go. They offered me co-sign on a loan. Thats where the Lude came in. Someone hit her to. It wasnt her fault it totalled now.

If I can, I'll keep it until I have a kid and probably pass it onto them (keep in mind that engines will of course be replaced), or until I'm sick of the Cb7 (which probably won't ever happen).

Damn dude...i think if i ever got another car..it would probly be a newer Lude like yours, either that or a newer(98-02) accord 2-dr and put the drop in it. Those ludes are sweet and sleek.

I think the car body is timeless. You gotta keep it as long as you can. You can always have 2 cars or 3 in some cases... I added a gs-r to my collection.. i bought my gs-r cheaper than my accord. Love them both! Save your money and keep the car until you have to spend too much money on it and you start to have bad feelings towards it.

My Accord has 110,000 miles. All original.
It has 0 rust as it was a Florida car.

I like it. It's comfy and i blend in with the everyday commute...:P

If i have a chance to get a SE Accord or perhaps a Vigor GS, then i'll jump on that. But i dont see a H22 swap in the future of my Accord anytime...i have my Prelude (not acclude) to have fun in and to smack ricers around with...
