LX door panels not clearing EX speaker pods.

so i have a 93ex that im swaping parts with, i have a 92 lx. I decide that i want the door panels because they are cleaner, so when i get the EX's off, then mine off, i put on the EX panel into my car, then to put my LX on the EX, and it doesnt clear the speaker pods...

The two nodels have different sized speakers. LX's have 6 1/2's in the front and EX's have 4's in the front.

with the different speakers, there is a difference in speaker pods/baskets as you have already seen. notice the door panel pockets near the speaker grill on the LX have more room compared to the EX which have less room because of this. the EX pods extend BEHIND the panel pockets. that's why an LX panel won't fit the EX (unless you remove the pods). it will work EX panels to an LX though.
