I see alot of you are sick of your cb7's due to the rust..lack of reliability..or well..lets keep it reall..they are ugly..lol jk...but man soy sauce, rebels and others are selling their beautiful rides. Comeon you kno theyve been taken care of as well seeing as they are veterans of this site. Theres also some decent to cheap cars for sale in the Classifide's section of the site. check it out now!Theres ALOT of great deals going on..so support your fellow members drug/drinking habit and buy their stuff!

DhN:So how did u find out about cb7tuner.com? and what made you join?
Deevergote: discussiong the cb7 community with one of the other mods at the moment, actually
Deevergote: i was on hondahookup.com, and someone mentioned it to me (a guy that has since sold the CB7 and bought an evo... while living with his parents... )
DhN:nice...what made you purchase a cb7?
Deevergote [12:09 AM]: i had the CB7 already, and was getting into it (just got the swap done) so i definitely wanted in! i was like the 50th person to join
Deevergote [12:09 AM]: eh, it was affordable, and my step-father (who owns the car lot that sold it to me) thought it was best... i honsetly wanted a Dodge Stratus or a Toyota Camry more than i wanted the CB7
DhN:ooo..old timer i see..anywho what do you think draws tuners to the cb7? whats so great about it?
Deevergote [12:11 AM]: the cb7 is reliable, inexpensive, and has a fair amount of potential
Deevergote [12:11 AM]: it's the lightest car that can accept the h22 swap without special mounts (lighter than the Prelude that the motor comes in!)
Deevergote [12:11 AM]: the suspension is decent, though not quite as snappy as the previous model...
Deevergote [12:11 AM]: it looks decent, and has some aftermarket support...
DhN:speaking of the h22..are you happy wiht the performance of it? i kno many would like to swap it but is it worth the money?
Deevergote [12:12 AM]: and there are guys like me that force all their friends into buying one!
Deevergote [12:12 AM]: i would say so. there is nothing that can compare to the h22 in terms of power and reliability for the CB7
Deevergote [12:12 AM]: turbo is good, but the H22 offers stock reliability... something even a good turbo system can't guarantee

Deevergote: 75 more horsepower without sacrificing much gas mileage (or any gas mileage... i still get about 400 to a tank when i drive normally) is a great upgrade. the only disadvantage is that the H22 adds a little weight to the front... not significant though
DhN:say for some reason you were on the design team...when the 4th gen was made...what changes would you have made to it?
Deevergote: hmmm.... that's a good one
Deevergote: i would definitely have redesigned the rear fender wells to not have that plastic splash guard... it's the cause for much of the rear quarter panel rust
Deevergote: not that that can be forseen... but still... knowing what i know now...
DhN:yeh i feel you
Deevergote: i would've designed the transmissions with stronger synchronizers... i've had 3 transmissions now, 2 F series and one H series... all 3 have synchro issues
Deevergote: and I would've made the h22 availible in stock form... but that's just me the original design teams had no idea that the Accord would have potential as a sports car

haha, pretty cool thread man.. i like the format... its kinda like a "news" section for the website.. since there's no real homepage. hopefully we can keep this up on a regular basis.

as far as where i am.. i've been super busy in the last 2 weeks... more than normal. i had to get my car running again, get my new apartment set up and find a job before school started.. but it's pretty much settled down now and i should be on a lot more. and like i said, i'm back in school again.. so i should have access to some pretty cool film/video equipment and editing suites.. so expect a new video this fall

I also agree with what you said. I'm about to start school and work so I won't be on here much and this bulletin would help me alot with catch up and what not.
