I just got my car about a month ago. I bought it off of a guy i know. Apparently he didnt take very good care of it. I didnt pay much for it so im not worried about a refund. I was planning on getting a h22 swap but i never thought it would be this soon.

                wow thanx for the response.

And yeah i cant spell at all. Yeah i have done the research and i have been going to skool to become a mechnic for over a year now so i think i will be a fairly simple swap except im kinda foggy on the axel can i use the accord or prelude or should i get custom ones? same question about shift linkage too?please! This site kicks mighty ass im glad to see that some many people are keeping the cb7 alive. Keep up the great work.

o yeah and about the damn rod i dont think he every changed the oil. i know the clutch is going bad too(pressure plate). Does anyone have a exedy clutch. If so how do you like it.o yeah and for my last question is my banner showing a picture of my ride? Thanx for all the help this site is a dream come true. haha

I have an Exedy Sport and its *only* alright, I expected more grabbing power. There is never any real slipage however, you are getting an H22 so I recomend something with more bite. :-D PS a friends SHprelude eats Greddy clutches about 1 a year so I dont recommend those either. Just get a 6puck

I would definitely take apart the engine to find out why it happened. Then i would let the forum know

                      Welcome BTW.

Yeah i just talked to my teacher today and he said i can bring it in an find out wtf happened. if its not in bad shape ill probably break it all down and do a rebuild. I hate to be the 21 question newbie but i have been a vistor of this site for quite sometime. I was wondering how hard of an install would it be to install a turbo on my h22(im planning on getting pistons and maybe resleeve the block). For those of you that have boosted their h22s do you like it? maybe some one has some dynos i could see? Thanx again. I apprectiate your time and patience with this newbie

kinda but do dx's have airconditioning?i'm gonna ditch the airconditioning when i do my f22b dohc swap,so if the dx doesnt have airconditioning then i know what belt to ask for

Cb74Ev-good luck w/ all your plans and sorry the motor gave out so soon Changing the oil can only go so far, or should I say not changing it (not ref. to you ) Keep us posted and nice DX, 5spd too

Ilikebigbutts- For the alt. belt (w/o A/C) go to Honda and ask for an alternater belt for a 90-93 A/C'less DX. It's kind of an unpopular item (most cb7's have a/c), so they may need to order it! Good luck!
