    Prelude foglights on a 90-91 cb7

Whats up guys. I am looking to put some honda prelude fogs on my cb7.

Heres a link to the auction of what I am looking at:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Does anyone have a pics or details on the install of these? I know people have done them before, and I tried to search but I came up with nothing.

    Thanks guys!

Its been asked before, they aren't the exact same size and shape as 9091 fogs or else everyone here with 9091's would be doing them

If you had a 97-01 prelude those would be dope, if you don't, I'd advise you not to even bother.
I fly by like the coupe grew wings!!!

I'll be the voice of hope here.
You very well could install some prelude fog lights if you can cut the holes for them (they won't match up with lines behind bumper) and can fabricate brackets of some sort to mount them by. Even then the lights probably won't sit perfectly flush.
To be honest, you are probably better off rummaging through the junkyard for some fogs, your year fog lights tend to be more common there I've heard.
Being normal is probably the lamest thing you can try to be

Ive checked my local pick and pull, and out of the 15-20 cbs there, no fog lights. Its not like someone took them either, none of the cars there have them. None of them have window visors, or any other accesories either. Best thing I found was an armrest, lol.

Im just looking for a cheaper alternative to them oem fogs, that doesnt look too bad. I already have Es300 ones, but I would prefer something that looks closer to stock. I just cant justify spending $200 on fog lights.

Your best bet is to just wait to find a member selling them

OEM fogs are the most common of the " rare accessories "

            You will almost never find:

            oem roof rack
            oem security system
            oem flushmount
            oem rainvisors
oem leather steering wheel cover ( i rate that one the rarest of them all )

Well oem 9293 i should say

In 1991 a leather steering wheel was standard in the 1991 SE

The 1993 se did not get an airbag

if there is a leather wrapped 9293 steering wheel at your junkyard in good shape then you need to PM me

One thing though, most people don't give a damn about the stock steering wheel so they won't sell for much even if you find one

I've only ever seen one and its in my brothers car and its beat to hell

I know it was a 92 because I took the rear bumper off of it for my car. Ill let you know if its still there. I just really hope I can get a set of fogs lol

i don't see how the leather steering wheel cover is rare if you can still buy it.

prelude fogs don't look too bad.

                    later.

I liked the idea, but I assume that only looks as good as it does because they have the lip mounted higher, right below the fogs, covering up the gap.

I figured there would be a gap, so my plan is actually to do this,

Get a piece of sheet metal and trace the part of the bumper where it gets cut for the fog lights.

Cut it to size, plus a little extra to secure it to the bumper

Trace out the prelude fog and cut out the area for that.

Then paint the sheet metal black so it wont show a gap.

If I dont find OEM fogs tommorow I think this is the route im going to go..

well, i didnt find any foglights at the junkyard today, so its either I use my es300 fogs that I have now, or buy these
