That's awesome, though. I love that he keeps resurrecting that car. I'm not into the rusted car thing, but honestly, the story behind that one is cool (and it's done with taste... it actually fits the rat-rod concept that inspired it)

I like it because it was previously junk. He wrecked what was once a very nice e28, yanked it out of the junkyard, and made this rat-rod.

If he ruined a perfectly good e28 to make this thing, I'd HATE it... but I feel he's given life to an otherwise dead car. It's a zombie BMW! Well... now it has a Toyota engine...

I love that little bastard. I was so sad reading his post about the frame splitting. You could feel the emotion behind those words. I think it's a fantastic story. I think it's a fantastic car. I think that if any one of us wouldn't resurrect our cars that many times (granted we had the money) then we shouldn't call our selves enthusiasts. If you don't love your car enough to go the extra mile to keep it alive and with you as long as you live, you're just another motorist.

Just my .02, and I'm sure most disagree, but that's how I feel about it all.
