ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Slid and Hit the Curve = BIG DAMAGE

My car slid and hit the curve going onto the highway
From what i have look at

I needed new caliper (caliper cylinder is bent), New knuckle assemble because it bent, new rotor and new pad , new wheel, and maybe new bearing.

Could my axle bent since my knuckle bent inward? From what i saw my axle seem to be fine.

Pull the axel out and check for play. Check your balljoints and tie rods as well. From that impact , many components are in danger.

You had to have been going faster than that...

I smacked a curb multiple times in my cb and never did anything that bad. Sucks though.

I'd be weary of inner tie rod, cross member front and rear.

140 for a bearing???? Where'd you get these prices, Honda? I paid $25 for a bearing.

You better make sure nothing else is damaged, such as the control arm or even the crossmember.

yeah the junk yard would be a good place to look first for some of the smaller parts why does 1 rotor cost 120???? i just bought almost my whole brake system minus the calipers for under 300 . and they were the best one i could buy too.

no you wouldn't HAVE to replace both sides. could if you had the money sure. check ur upper control arm as well. its prabally ripped out of socket. how did practially the entire brake assembley on that side completely shatter and ur tire is still holdin pressure? i would have thought the tire/wheel should have takin most of the hit. and honestly from a hit like that i would just replace everything on that side including the axel. if it ain't broke yet is def gonna start clickin very soon.

Make the J-yards your best friend You should be able to pick up at least 70% of your parts there.

I've taken that entrance many times, That small curb did that much damage? Did you run over all the pot holes on the entrance also? I know someone locally that may have the parts that you need.
