ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

And many more to be searched...........
Anyways mine from TJ was very good. Had a small problem and they took care of it.
A LOT to do for a real good swap so research, research ,research.
Any corners you cut WILL come back later.
Around 2.5 to 3K by the time your done doing most labor yourself is about what it takes.
There will be members here that will say you can do a swap in 5 hours and it will cost next to nothing.
I'm happy for them but in the real world of reliability those kinds of statements are pipe dreams.
Everything you could possibly need to know about a swap is here at CB7 Tuner.com
Just somethings to consider.Last edited by Old School; 04-10-2009, 08:01 AM.Take that freek show to the park, maybe the squirrels will care.

As I've said in every other thread... keep in mind that you're buying from a Canadian company. You really have no course of action if they give you a crap motor, other than HOPING they make good and replace it.
I'd choose www.hmotorsonline.com over anyone else.

2 users that have purchased from them recently got bad motors.
PR CB7 had to include a broken, YES BROKEN SNAPPED OFF, crankshaft (as you probably read)
and
DrummerSteve7 to include bottom end issues. still need to open it up, possibly rod bearings, maybe more!
again to piggyback on what deev said I would go with hmotorsports.
goodluck my friend!Last edited by drummersteve7; 04-10-2009, 10:59 AM.

I got my h22 from tigerjapanese. I ordered it Feb 9th and got it the week after, I just recently did the swap and my car is running like a champ.. I guess I was lucky! I know two others, other than myself, that bought from tiger around the same time as me and their motors were good motors

LOL I got an F22A from TigerJapanese a while ago for around $650 shipped and man was that motor abused!! it has been through a lot: running it wide open throttle every chance i get, once improperly installed timing belt and distributor, the motor even saw 20:1 AFR at wide open throttle multiple times. After over 10,000 miles of abuse it still runs like a brand new F22, doesn't even have any signs of the common idle surge problem.
