    tochigi-fuji: 1993 Accord EX

Not much to her, just a little stock EX coupe

    Mods:

    Engine:
    -Replaced airbox with K&N filter

    Interior:
    -None

    Exterior:
    -Clear corners (brand unknown)
-DIY red taillights? (bought the car with -all red tails, I assume it was a DIY job)
    -Debadged rear

Like I said not a lot to it right now. I'm planning to replace the tails with a set of stock ones, I keep getting some kind of weird "growth" on the current ones (can't really see it in the pictures since I had just washed the car).

But anyway, more pics are available here if anyone is interested:

    Thanks for looking!

Thanks a lot, it helps buying a car from someone who actually cared about it. Yeah and I'm anal about my interior, lol.

Not too sure what my plans are with it. The car is really just my daily driver so it would be smart to keep it all stock and just drive it until it falls apart... but what car enthusiast can live like that?

I'd really like to upgrade the lighting on it since it is my daily driver and I drive it an awful lot (including a lot of highway trips), so I've been reading a lot of the HID threads and looking at that, however my knowledge on this subject is still pretty low.

The paint needs a lot of work, clear coat is peeling off/oxidizing and it just looks bad in general. I'll probably just let this slide for the time being as the car is parked on a college campus and thus takes a beating (I don't understand how people can drive and park new cars on campus, especially a downtown one like GT).

Engine wise, I'd really like to do an H22 swap, but then who doesn't? My sister used to have a 2000 prelude and I loved that motor. The F22A6 is definitely a strong little motor though and is fine for the time being. Maybe this summer I'll look more into this.

The car also has some other little problems, like the door panels don't really fit that well. I think the previous owner has oversized speakers installed there. Its not that big of a deal and I think the car sounds pretty good for just having an aftermarket head unit, but the door panels rattle when the door is closed and it sounds really crappy.

EDIT: Forgot, I would also really like to upgrade the wheels/brakes. My rotors are warped for the second time in 5000 miles (my alignment was severally off though, so that might have something to with it), so I'd like to at least upgrade them to the CL brakes for an easier time maintenance wise. I don't really like the stock wheels that much and mine have some weird stains on them too. I think a pair of bronze Rota C8's would look pretty nice. However, I just invested in two new tires... so I'll hang onto the stockers for awhile I guess

So I guess those are things I want/need for the car (wow, more than I thought). Reading this site is bad though, I keep seeing more and more cool stuff I want to do with it.

I payed $3500 back in April, had about 152,000 miles on it. Yeah, I know probably too much, but I needed a car (was driving my dad's '95 S-10 at the time, had wrecked my RX-7 back in February ). The PO had also done a bunch of maintenace recently (new radiator, brake work, inspection, etc , etc) and overall the car was very clean and incredibly well maintained.

I don't regret the purchase at all, she probably could have sold the car for $4000 if she had held out longer for the right buyer.
