Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    195/50R15 Low pros

    howz these size tires? anyone got them? think'n of pick'n up new tires for my cb but dont know what size to got with.. found someone on craigs with these tires brand new for 100, i just wanna see how it would look on a cb7.. pics would help

        Don't do it, you'll have stupid wheel gap and your speedo will read wrong.

            $100 for brand new tires?

            What suspension you running?
            If it's stock you'll look stupid, but if you're dropped, it'll look better.

              I have 205-50-15. I would go up to at least 55. Big wheel gap and my car is already to low. These are just for the winter

                ok, here we go...

                here is exact specs of what you will encounter.

                i assume you have 195/60/15 which has a rolling diameter for 24.2
                revolutions per mile will be 858.

                195/50/15
                22.7 rolling diameter (huge difference!) the biggest difference in size i would do is an inch.
                with revs per mile of 916


                it will throw the speedo off for sure, as to how much im not certain maybe 5 miles an hour. so it will say you are going faster than you are.

                if you dont give a shit and want to slam yo shiet, this is the way to do it man! it would give a huge drop just from adding tires, then add a nice coilover set or springs and your lip will drag the ground

                    It will still look bad dropped. It's just like all the people on 205-40 17s, the diameter is just too small. It looks awful.

                            I have 195/50/15 on my ex rims and i think it looks good. the speedo is off by 5 mph.

                              jus what i was looking for.. thanks looks good, is your car stock height? btw im plann'n on slam'n it soon mines is stock for now but is that a deal for the price or just a waste of money? thanks for all the info
