EGR block off, what do you do about the wires?

Ok you block off the EGR valve on the intake manifold, what do you do about the wiring harness that plugs into the EGR valve? Nothing?

, lmao.. thats the easiest solution.. but emissions wise.. is this something that would cause you to fail? and what are the advantages of doing this?

Ok I guess I'll just block it off and leave the valve plugged in. I was hoping I could remove the ugly thing and replace it with a much prettier block off plate, but whatever. Last thing I want is a CEL.

i never knew that.......why would blocking it off keep it clean ???

We all know what the EGR system does right? Sends some of the exhaust back into the intake to be reburned, which is supposed to help with emissions.

There for you block it off, no exhaust gases get recirculated, no carbon buildup.
