Im australian, Rhd is oem here. If you want, you should contact Iron chef imports, they go from america to australia, so they should be able to source what you want
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

Instagram. I don't even think Steve uses email!

Honestly, it would probably be far easier to simply import a full RHD car. Any car with a manufacture date 25 years or older from the day you import it will be eligible for import with little hassle. That covers a good portion of CBs. Then you get a complete RHD car (I'd go for 4ws, personally), and you don't have to worry about all the custom work to do a conversion. Especially if you can't weld... because paying someone to do that much custom work gets VERY pricey... and ensuring everything is 100% straight isn't always easy.

isnt the 1990 CB already 25yo? just import one. its not like theyre the price of a skyline. cuz theres alot more unique stuff about the RHD versions than what you see in the front clip area.

Anything with a build date of 12/2/1990 or earlier can be imported relatively easily today. That means some early 1991 models are even fair game, as many of those were probably made starting in October, 1990.

Julianachos bought a RHD car from an importer (though his came from the UK, which is where that importer gets most of his stuff) and said that a rough estimate for importation costs is $2500. Therefore, if a car is $1000, it would cost a grand total of $3500... plus whatever expenses incurred to transport it once it hits US soil. Importing from East Asia or Australia/New Zealand would possibly cost more, but I don't imagine it would be TOO much more. And it's easier to transport a complete rolling car than it is to transport half a car that has to be forklifted everywhere.

And some of those cars in the UK are NICE. I believe one member in the UK bought a 4WS sedan for around $300 USD, it had 50k miles and just needed a buff to look good. If you make a deal with a overseas member to locate a car and assist with arrangements, you could get a deal.
