    ProjectH22 : 1992 Accord LX

    Pretty late starting this thread for my 1992 Honda Accord LX that I picked up last year for $600. I am the third owner, with the original owner buying in in 1992 and using it until around 2009 when it sat for a few years for some reason before the next owner bought it. He didn't use it much and then in mid 2019 I picked it up! She had 140k miles at the time and was FILTHY inside. Here's a few pictures from when I first got it:




    And here's how she sits now. Please note that she is a bunch of different colors because of prior damage on the front driver's fender and due to me hitting a deer and it destroying my passenger fender, mirror and doors, all of which have been replaced with parts from various donor cars. So she is definitely a work in progress.




    MOD LIST

    ENGINE
    • Stock F22A6 Engine
    • Stock 5 Speed Transmission
    • EX dual tip muffler


    EXTERIOR
    • 90/91 front bumper, headlights and grille
    • OEM 90/91 fogs with factory harness
    • 90/91 rear bumper
    • Depo clear corners and bumper signals

    INTERIOR
    • Aftermarket Kenwood single din receiver


    SUSPENSION/WHEELS
    • Stock suspension
    • Crappy American Racing wheels because I got a deal on them with practically new tires


    AUDIO/ELECTRONICS
    • Kenwood bluetooth receiver
    • Front 6.5" JVC speakers
    • Rear speaker enclosures replaced with EX model for 6x9s
    • JVC 6x9" rear speakers
    • Kicker CompVR 12" sub with amp in trunk


    FUTURE PLANS
    • Paint entire car white, black window trim
    • Tint (18% front, 5% rear)
    • Lower approx 2", 5 lug conversion, wheels and tires
    • Rear disk conversion
    • One piece JDM headlights
    • H22 swap
    • Convert to black interior and add quality of life improvements
    • Whatever else catches my eye that I think would look good


    There she is. I will update here when I complete things. As far as maintenance and mechanical repairs, I have replaced the front upper control arms, lower ball joints, outer tie rods ends, the clutch, the master and slave cylinders for the clutch hydraulics and the brake master cylinder.
