Yes I agree with keeping it blue, I LOVE this color. I have to paint it because I left it outside all winter and the snow ruined my clear coat, plus there is a HUGE gouge in the passenger side of the rear bumper. And I have a champagne colored trunk to boot....

Yea NA all the way, I don't want the hassle of turbo tuning and maintenance. I MIGHT consider NOS later down the road, but for now all motor.

Here are some pics of my FREE DIY short throw shifter. I did not have to cut the console to make room, but I did have to remove the metal retaining ring from under the shifter boot.

I believe the thread got deleted on accident, I just used an aluminum strap that came with my crappy CAI and wrapped it around the shifter. Hasn't moved yet.

Just removed my balance shaft belt, but I cheated like a mofo to do it. I cut a small access hole into the timing cover directly above the balance shaft gear to the right of the CS pulley. After cutting the belt I slowly turned the engine via the PS pump and slowly rotated the belt out . I will post pics of the access hole later, kinda beat today. Later I will clean the area with degreaser and seal it up with some silicone.

Thanks man, yeah I just so happened to be looking around the garage and saw the strap and decided to give it a shot, LOL plus I didn't have $5...

And no worries, it happens
