    error code 43

Just got done doing an engine swap, I know 43 has to do with running rich. I can smell it from my exhaust. Also, I cant time my car, the marks jump around all over the place, even try to set the base idle ignition. Can this be related to the error code 43, where do I start?
    Thanks

You have to jump the service connector while setting timing, otherwise the ECU will try to correct it.

dj, I did jump the service connector.
o2 is only two years old, I'm gonna bench tested.
I'm leaning toward an intake leak somewhere, I already found one. Got to look for other leaks. I will post up tomorrow.

I had an o2 sensor go bad in a few months. Two years is definitely possible. Especially when you consider the health of the catalytic converter.
