New Legend Lip -Fitment Issues- *PICS*

So i put my new legend lip on today and it looks great...from the front.

    It's a 94-95 Legend Coupe Lip with fog-light cut-outs.

No matter how i position it, i always end up with over hang on both sides.

    Here's what im talking about..

    Drivers side:

    Passenger side:

    Front:

If i mount it up with both ends flush with the ends of my bumper, there's no way to mount the middle of the lip flush without it bending in horrible ways that are very unpleasant to look at, at any angle. So what you see here is the best that i could do..for now. I used as much of the OEM mounting hardware as possible and also used self-tapping screws in places where OEM stuff wasn't applicable.

Any thoughts and/or ideas on how to make it herra frush from all angles...PLEASE!

As a side-note, i do plan on re-surfacing the entire lip and painting it either gloss or matte black. So i'd really like to sort out fitment before that time comes. I hope someone can shed some light on this situation for me..

    Thanks for reading.

I would say trim it, or try shooting it up more, either way it looks better than it being too short

        Shooting it up more?

And yeah, im glad its not too short. Subtracting material is alot easier than adding..

Ah, OK then. thanks for clearing that up. I guess i'll either deal with it or trim it up and smooth it out... Time will tell.

        Any other comments or advice?

I think it looks good. It doesn't hang that bad

mount it centered, and then trim off the overhang same thing with a CD front lip, mount it up so its straight and centered, then trim the ends. good pick-up!!! I like that lip!

I'd tape a line and cleanly dremel it to flow with the bumper.
