Car dies after a few seconds.

My dad has a 93 EX, he replaced the clutch last week on it and trying to sell it. I tried driving it today and it stays on for about 15 seconds after you start it and then it just dies all the sudden... Any ideas?
You have been defeated by a car with child locks, how embarassing...
