OK, I have about 4 cb7's in my household and 3 went though the no start on a hot day problem already. For all 3 the main relay fixed the problem, well maybe except for one. I replaced the main relay on my wifes car a month ago after she had the hot day no start problem. I replaced it and it started well. Well yesterday it was another hot NY day and it didnt start. I just waited til nighttime just to see what would happen and sure enough it started at night. It also started today while it was hot.
Now im really confused, if something takes a shit, it should just take a shit. But this thing seems like its fartin. I want toi ask if anyone had a similar problem AFTER changing the main relay. Also has anyone ever had a main relay go bad after a month or so. Is there anything else in the car that can overheat during non driving and cause the car not to start. Any help is appreciated because I cant even diagnose this thing if it STARTS up you know. Thanx in adavance
