Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    if i get my hands on a fully working gauge cluster then i'll probably do this. right now i have indiglos which are the reason that my speedo and gas/temp gauges dont work now...oh well

          AWESOME!!! Four 74's and three 194's you say? Can these LED's be purchased at Radio Shack? Does anyone know what size and how many would change the ingnition ring?

                  yes, 4x74 and 3x194. no u cant buy them at radioshack - they only sell individual 3volt LEDs. if you buy them from superbrightleds.com they are set up for 12v direct plug-in application, prefitted to the shape of a stock bulb.

                  and if you want to know what type of bulb the ignition ring uses, check out the "light bulb application guide" sticky listed in the Lighting subforum of the Appearance section

                      Isnt there green tint for the backing or something like that? Or did you guys just plug in the LED?

                        the stock gauge faces have a greenish blue tint on the backs of them... blue LEDs will shine through it no problem (same way i did my whole led dash) -- when ur doing other colors is when you have to worry about it. u can pull the tint film out of all of the dash buttons, and i remember seeing somebody sand the tint off the back of the gauge faces..

                          Gotcha thanks. Ive heard of people going at it with a solder gun lol haha crazy people. But yea looks like all I need to do is plug em in then. Appreciate the help.
