so ive read posts about how exhaust headers (except for the bisi v-series headers) dont really add too many more ponies as apposed to our stock exhaust manifolds. i have a 92 ex coupe w/ an f22a4 swapped in it(currenty being rebuilt) but i still have all the other a6 equipment like: dual stage intake mani, cast exhaust mani. etc. i was wondering if these gains are not more than a couple hp why do people seem so eager to buy new headers? i ask because ill probably be buying a cheap header, cat, and cat-back exhaust system from ebay. my buddy has the same set up and he has not had a problem w/ his for a lil over a tear now.

Personally the bisi headers are the only ones that are superior to the A6 in my opinion. But you really only get the ponies with the IM and cam from the A6 paired with the exhaust.
ebay headers and DC headers are good if you want to replace close to an A4 setup, but still better than an A1 setup...
