What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I first saw a merk 5 years ago... Thought it was the coolest thing ever.
My first car was an 87 Dodge Shadow ES. Turbo, auto, terrible condition. The tranny went in 2 weeks after I bought it, cost me $600 to fix, and that one went in a year. I think the turbo finally started working about a month before the whole car died.
I treated that car like crap... First oil change came 10,000 miles after I got it. Beat the hell outta the tranny when it was going bad (both times).
The actual FRAME broke once when I braked hard... I just had it welded back together and continued driving it
Its final days were spent with 3 gallons of water in the back seat, waiting to go into the leaky radiator. I held the radiator drain cap on with duct tape, and drove around trying to get my new 166k mile Chevy Cvalier wagon on the road. It made it, and then a belt broke. Sold the sucker for $200 as it was.
The Chevy then lasted for 3 months. In that time, the windshield cracked, and was replaced. Then the electrical system went. I was told it would cost more to fix than the car was worth... Rode my bike for a few weeks, and then got the good ol' CB7 (which I almost took a Camry or Stratus over... )
There's my life story...
